IT started in sunny Stilton with the cheese-rolling and moved on to muddy Maldon for the mud race. There are two more crazy summer sports to come, all sponsored by Hooper’s Brews. Hooper’s make delicious alcoholic beverages based on traditional drinks like ginger beer, dandelion and burdock and cloudy lemonade. Unfortunately, they pay us in ordinary money.

One of the biggest challenges of this commission is filming the events without including images of children. Because of the association with alcoholic drinks, strict rules apply to the content of advertising and promotional material. Children must not feature. So if you are under 25 and waved at our cameras at any of the events, sorry we couldn’t include you.
